INFORMATION

Let yourselves be introduced into the world of celebrities by our fascinating wax figures that are part of an interactive attraction. Meet your favourite celeb in person – from Hollywood stars and sports heroes to historical and political celebrities.

Now in Berlin. Madame Tussauds brings the glamour of international stars to the heart of the city. On an 2,500m² exhibition space you'll experience 8 different areas with various interactive elements, actors and impressive settings. The two-hour-tour will be an entertaining and informative adventure for your whole family. The wax figures that made Madame Tussauds famous all over the world bear a striking resemblance to their original counterpart. On 2 floors you'll be able to get close to 80 national and international celebs as well as legends from contemporary history.

Major politicians and great thinkers from past and present greet you in the first part of the exhibition. Look forward to meeting Sofie Scholl, John F.Kennedy, Papst Benedikt XVI and Erich Honecker before delivering a speech together with Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Get into action in the culture area. Will you successfully pass Albert Einsteins IQ test? Actually it doesn't matter because everyone is able to play piano with Ludwig van Beethoven at Madame Tussauds Berlin. Continue on to a meet&greet with Hollywood legend Marlene Dietrich or with Romy Schneider in her most famous role as Empress Sissi.

In the next part of the exhibition you'll be able to get a look behind the scenes. By means of illustrative material and interactive touch screens you’ll learn how a lifelike wax figure is made. It’s a long way from the so-called "sitting", where 500 measurements are taken from the celebrity, to the shaping of the body, finished hairstyling and make up.

We go sportive next. Compete in a tennis match with Boris Becker. Oliver Kahn awaits unerring kickers at our interactive goal. But don't worry; no one has to fight boxing legend Henry Maske. We only check your weight here.

From the stadium we switch to the television studio, our next interactive part of the attraction, where everybody becomes a TV star in front of the camera. How about sitting on white couch next to Thomas Gottschalk for once? And is it really so hard to make a million in Günther Jauchs "Who wants to be a millionaire"? Anyway it's going to get funny when visitors meet Michael "Bully" Herbig. Here you'll find costumes to try on and become Bully’s fellow comedian.

A truly royal array of megastars offers the next area. Meet the "King of Rock'n Roll" Elvis Presley and practice the Moonwalk side by side with Michael Jackson. Next to international stars you’ll encounter German celebrities, too, such as Herbert Grönemeyer or flashy Nina Hagen. And if this isn’t enough for you, jump on stage and be the fifth band member of the Beatles.

If you're still looking for more stars at this point of the tour, you'll definitely enjoy the celebrity party. Finally you'll get to know VIP’s like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, superstar Justin Timberlake, pop queen Madonna or Robbie Williams. It might happen that you'll see George Clooney drinking his cocktail right next to you – and only at second glance you’ll recognize it’s a wax figure.

New in 2010: Heidi Klum models at Madame Tussauds Berlin, too. London, Paris, New York – a top model barely knows her home. In Berlin Heidi Klum just got a permanent place of residence. Know she and her fans can pose in front of the camera together and potential models can prove their skills.

Moritz Bleibtreu revealed his wax double: One of the most successful German actors got his own monument in Berlin. The Moritz Bleibtreu wax figure gets it's place between national and international movie legends.
